Heartbeats
JimThere is the use of a familiar term that keeps moving around in my mind. Have you ever had the experience of having a tune play over and over in your mind and you just couldn’t stop hearing that tune no matter what you were doing at the time? I have this term playing over and over in my mind, and I can’t stop thinking about it. I can hear it even as I write this edition of Heartbeats. Frazer family, Frazer family, Frazer family. Why is it nagging me so? It is like a heartbeat! Frazer family, Frazer family, Frazer family, Frazer family. (more)

Pastor's Points (Continued)
(Continued from top)

What does it mean for us to be a part of the Frazer family? Could it mean that we are connected through the love of Jesus so that we will look at each other as brothers and sisters? Could it also mean that we will give our best to take care of the family and honor the family with sacrificial giving of one’s self for the happiness of the family or an individual family member? Could it mean all of the above and even more? I think so.

You know what it is like to be separated from the family by space and time. It is an empty and depressing feeling. It is the sense that something important is missing and we are helpless to make that feeling go away. Something is terribly wrong if we don’t miss our family members when we are not with them. Some of our family members are missing. They are separated from us by time and space. Some choose this relationship and some have just drifted away thinking that one day they will be back, but then it is easier not to come back. A happy family is the family where every family member is present.

The family that prays together, plays together, works together, and worships together is going to be wholesome and happy family. Remember to greet your family members today. The spirit of Frazer is family!

The Frazer family is spread all around Montgomery and surrounding counties and even throughout the United States and overseas. We now have a part of the Frazer family on the move to southeast Montgomery. The Hispanic congregation under the leadership of Rev. Mario Aman sees the need to move closer to a defined Hispanic neighborhood where they can offer Christ to our Spanish-speaking population. They have a worship center and Sunday School rooms at 4870 Woodley Road. Mario asked permission to try this for six months and try to grow the Hispanic congregation. The number of new persons in worship is very promising. Please keep Mario and the leadership of the Hispanic congregation in your prayers. They are family!
- Jim
