The Casserole Ministry provides meals for members during times of illness or a family crisis and do not attend a Sunday school class. The meal is delivered to the member and their family by the ministry volunteers.

Volunteer Responsibilities: The Casserole Ministry Coordinator works with the volunteers to have a meal prepared and delivered in time for dinner. Usually around 5pm during the week. If the meal is for a family who has experienced a death the meal is coordinated either before or after the funeral at the family’s home.

Time Spent Volunteering: This depends on the recipe and whether the meal is prepared and cooked or purchased from a local store. There will also be delivery time to take the meal to the family.

Volunteer skills needed: Cooking skills are great but if you want to prepare the meal yourself. The ability to drive and to deliver the food.
