Notes from Our Pastor
Image I took some vacation time and was on the way to the beach on Sunday morning January 1. On a country road outside of Elba, Alabama, in the middle of nowhere, there was a routine traffic stop where they were checking licenses and registrations. I pulled up to the highway patrolman, rolled down my window, and handed him my license and registration. He immediately said, “Aren’t you supposed to be in church today?” Surprised, I said, “How did you know that?” He said, “Because I watch you on television every Sunday when I am not working. I love Frazer. You didn’t get fired or something, did you?” “No, I’m on vacation.” And then I asked him, “Have you ever been to the church?” He said, “No, but you are my church.”

Notes from Our Pastor - Continued

As I drove away, I realized once again the power of the Television Ministry of Frazer. Do you realize we literally reach into thousands of homes in central and south Alabama every Sunday morning and thousands of homes through our station, WFRZ, in the river region. Thousands of people, many of whom would never hear the good news of Jesus, were it not for Frazer television.

I want to thank the church family for your giving to support the budget of Frazer. The budget is what supports missions, like the Television Ministry. Every time you give to the church you have a hand in bringing the good news of Jesus Christ into thousands of homes.

A big thank you to the staff and the many volunteers who direct, operate cameras, and do the behind the scene works in television.

Grace and peace,

Dr. Tim Thompson
