Volunteer
All of us have a deep inner longing to make a difference in the lives of others. Jesus teaches us that the best way to demonstrate our love for God and find happiness for ourselves is by serving the needs of others. At Frazer, we see volunteering as a lot like "match making." We want everyone to be able to find a service opportunity that fits with their personality, gifts, abilities and passions. When you connect with service that is meaningful to you, it becomes a joy rather than a job, and enriches your life as much as those you serve. In His Steps 2010
Frazer believes that following Jesus means taking action, not just sitting in a building listening to someone talk about Him. That's why we've implemented an annual campaign known as "In His Steps." It's an opportunity each year for all of our members to prayerfully think through how they are walking as it were in the footsteps of Jesus by giving to others and volunteering our time and talents to serve.
Teaching messages, personal devotionals, and handbooks of available volunteer ministries are given to members during the course of the campaign, which culminates in each family turning in a commitment card expressing their plan for living out their faith during the following year.
