Family Teams for Christ
- Family Teams for Christ (FTC) is a Sunday school class program at Frazer designed to meet the unique needs of military and civilian couples in their late 20s to 40s. Taught by Lt. Col. Mike Conn (USAF retired) and his wife, Lisa (married 28 years and parents of three children). - "There are so many churches in the Montgomery area so we decided to start our search online. After browsing Frazer’s website reading about the activities and watching sermons online, we felt that this would be a great place to start our visiting. As a military family, we are used to going through the ringer finding a new church in each place we have lived. We’ve run into difficulties in the past actually finding the church, finding help getting our children settled or finding our way around the building. Our first Sunday visit to Frazer was nearly seamless. We followed the flow of traffic and easily found parking. Once we hopped on the parking shuttle the driver struck up a conversation with us asking if we were new in town. When we answered yes, he hollered at a friend when we arrived at the drop off point to show us to the tugboat and the friend made sure we were settled before leaving us to join his family. Our girls went immediately into their classrooms and our 18 month even went without a tear (thanks Ms. Marilyn). We both felt a sense of home during the contemporary worship service but were unsure about how we would find a way to fit in at such a large church with only 11-months in Montgomery. The next Sunday we met a couple in the hallway who invited us to a Sunday school class and our involvement with that class has made Frazer feel so small. There are so many opportunities to get involved and meet people at Frazer. We truly feel that Frazer has the best of both worlds – large enough to support great programming for the entire family, yet caring enough to have that small church feel. The main priority for our church search was met at Frazer and that is a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching fellowship of believers. It is refreshing to be in a church that still focuses on God’s inspired, inerrant word as its foundation." Chad & Kayla Breedlove
- "We have moved several times over the years. One of the toughest parts of every move is finding a church. We had heard about Frazer's reputation for its pre-school program and decided to try it for worship also. Coming from a small church at our last location, the thought of a church with over 7,000 members seemed very overwhelming. At first it was, until we got involved in a Sunday school class. There are a wide variety of classes so that you can find one that has people in the same situation as you. The class we joined was a perfect blend of couples with kids of all ages. We have made some incredible, life-long friends while learning about Christ. We have also been ecstatic about the education our kids have received. Both of them are eager to go to school. We have found our home as a member of the Frazer family." Chris & Mandy Cunniff
