Worship Volunteer Teams
Worship at Frazer is a team effort. Volunteers in areas of hospitality, music, creative arts, technical support, and prayer come together in all of our worship experiences to lead people into the transforming presence of God.
Hospitality
The hospitality team ensures that people are met by expressions of God’s love as soon as they drive on campus, and they feel at home in Frazer so they can focus on worship. If you love people and always have a smile to share, this can be the place for you. Volunteer areas include parking, shuttle drivers, outside and inside greeters, information desk, and ushers. Music
Music is a powerful force that stirs our souls and moves us to experience both the holiness and the love of God. Music comes in many flavors at Frazer. Teams include the sanctuary choir, contemporary choir, orchestra, praise band, and a number of vocal ensembles, as well as age-specific choirs in Children’s Worship Arts, Youth Worship Arts, and the Speeder’s Choir for older adults. Creative Arts
Visual and dramatic arts are embraced at Frazer as part of the way we are created in God’s image, as He is the ultimate artist. Teams include set design, video drama, live drama skits and full productions. Teams are called on as needed to support worship teaching concepts, as well as coming together for larger productions at Easter, Christmas and other occasions. Technical Support
Utilizing lights, sound systems, image and video projection enhance worship, especially for today’s generation raised in a culture where multimedia experiences have become the norm. In addition, Frazer’s broadcast capacities extend worship opportunities outside the walls of the building through internet streaming and television. Teams include sound technicians, lighting operators, camera operators, and image projection operators, as well as production managers that help everyone stay on time and work together in worship. Prayer
Worship at Frazer is not an “either/or” between human effort, and divine intervention, it is a “both/and.” We plan and work to achieve excellence in all that we do so that people may experience God’s presence, and at the same time we pray earnestly and fervently for God to come among us and empower us for worship through His Holy Spirit.
